Recently I was on vacation in Destin, Florida, riding my bicycle, minding my own business. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, but nevertheless that’s the truth.
So, I’m some 42 miles into this ride and have about four miles remaining to get back to the condo. I’m in the westbound bicycle lane on US 98 and all of a sudden there’s a car turning in front of me. We arrive at the same time and the car wins. I stop suddenly. If I’d been just a few seconds later I wouldn’t have had time to react and stop before hitting the car. If I had been just a few seconds earlier the nice lady would have run over me with her car. However, I was there when I was there, and survived with only minor injury. Timing is everything.
Timing is everything in our business as well. Sales are missed or made sometimes because of good, or bad, timing. The business owner just stepped out, or just returned from lunch or vacation, just bought coverage yesterday, the recruit just took another position or is not able to activate the fee for the state license today, the prospect didn’t answer the phone when you called about their resume, etc. Timing is everything.
There are many things you can’t control, but teaching and using the proven systems provided here at Liberty National is one thing you CAN control.
