What limits exist in your life? What goals have you not yet reached? And what has prevented you from reaching them? I think many of us would offer answers like a lack of experience, time constraints, too many obligations, a lack of support, or even just bad luck. Any of these answers seem reasonable, and that’s why we continually use them as rationalizations of why we can’t seem to achieve what we want.

But that’s not how it has to be.

Make your Liberty National career limitless. Let nothing hold you back.

‘I Believe’ the only limits in your life, and in your career, are the limits you have created for yourself. I’ve learned in my profession and in my life in general that limitations are only as real as we make them. Most limitations don’t even exist in the real world, only in our minds. Unfortunately, perception becomes reality when we believe something is preventing us from reaching our goals, because our efforts tend to stop just as the limitations begin. It’s up to us to first determine what it is we think is holding us back, and then to figure out how to rise above those barriers.

I know life isn’t always easy. In fact, sometimes it’s incredibly difficult. And through life’s obstacles and trials, it’s understandable to occasionally get discouraged. But we have not gotten where we are as a society because of our tendency to throw in the towel when difficulties arise. Because of the amazing human spirit that exists within all of us, we have done incredible things against incredible odds. ‘I Believe’ the great thing about humans is the ability to overcome adversity. That ability is present in us all … we just have to know how to channel it.

Rise above obstacles to succeed.

I want you to think of the person you admire the most. Is it someone who had every advantage, every opportunity, and used that good fortune to succeed? Or is it someone who rose above life’s difficulties to reach a new height that at first didn’t seem reachable? The people we look up to the most are often those who faced life’s bigger challenges. They are the ones who decided to lead the lives they wanted to lead, and not merely follow the easier course.

So what is the life you want to lead? What do you want to happen in your career? If you dream of building your team, of becoming a leader, or of having your own Agency, then break down any walls holding you back and make it happen. Your life and your career are in your hands, and only you have the power to control what becomes of them.

Ultimately, it all comes down to making a choice. You can choose to let limitations determine the outcome of your life, or you can choose to break out of the mold and let your own ambitions and talent lead the way. I have an enormous amount of faith in all of you, and I hope you have that same faith in yourselves. Start breaking down the barriers in your life, and do it today. Your life depends on the actions you decide to take, so take the ones that will allow you to live a life without limits.
