William Shakespeare’s Legacy
As a member of the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, a theatrical company for actors in London, Shakespeare made a name for himself that’s still famously recognized today. Fans of his work have recognized how his writing and plays capture real human emotion and conflict. Shakespeare primarily used a metrical writing pattern consisting of lines of unrhymed iambic pentameter, or blank verse, to compose his plays*.
Despite obstacles Shakespeare faced with his family and personal life, success followed him because of his relentless determination and talent. Did you know he’s the second most quoted writer in the English language**?
Aside from making a name for himself with his writing and acting, Shakespeare was also a very powerful businessman of the time. He focused on personal success and left a legacy when he passed away sometime in 1616. How incredible to use your skills and talents to establish wealth and legacy for your family? His plays have never lost popularity throughout the generations.
