Cheryl Ledford, Supervising Agent in Ron Tadle’s Liberty National Agency, is personally motivated to provide insurance coverage to those who need it. Especially after experiencing her own battle with cancer and having a friend who is now battling the disease for the third time. Cheryl knows firsthand why what we do is so important. Cheryl was one of the many successful leaders in attendance at February’s #LLA101 at the Home Office.
“After Leadership Academy I gained an entirely new perspective on recruiting. I got to see other Agents who do what I do, and it’s reassuring to know you’re out there in good company. It’s great to see how Liberty National helps protect families during adverse circumstances, and to learn about all we have to offer others in helping them build their careers,” Cheryl says.
Cheryl’s advice to new Agents would be to not wait on anything or hold back from attending #LLA101. Last fall Cheryl thought she wasn’t ready to train other Agents, but now after experiencing Leadership Academy herself, she understands how the firsthand accounts from successful leaders and all the great information makes a world of difference.
“I loved the ‘Happy Dance’! The speakers gave us so much insight. At Liberty National you meet so many people from every walk of life. Everyone has a story, and at #LLA101 you get to see people moving up in their careers, and no one tries to hold them back. The event was so upbeat and positive that I’d recommend it to anyone,” Cheryl says.
On the Path to Success
Cheryl’s career with Liberty National started in 2012. Before she contracted with the Company she worked on data entry at a phone company and had spent time in retail.
“I’m motivated by our cancer policy because it’s an incredible thing to offer our policyholders,” Cheryl says.
By this time next year Cheryl hopes to be an Agency Director. Best of luck, Cheryl! Are there other leaders at Liberty National that motivate you to be successful in your career? Do you have a powerful story about your life changing career with Liberty National? Share your thoughts with us here.
