Traveling around New Orleans on a streetcar is the most historic way to see the city during #LNLConvention2014. Forget renting a car or hailing a cab! Jump on the line, sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the city.
Liberty National Travels in Style!
There are three different streetcar lines throughout New Orleans including the St. Charles, Canal Street, and the Riverfront. The St. Charles Avenue Streetcar, which is the longest streetcar of New Orleans’ lines, is the oldest operational street railway system in the world*.
All of the lines start downtown and carry passengers to various parts of the city. New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (NORTA) keeps streetcars operational and accessible to riders. The lines have undergone much transformation and repair after the damages caused by Hurricane Katrina.
With means of travel as unique as the city itself, where will you go via New Orleans streetcar?
